Ahoy and Welcome!

Like most of you, I wear many hats. Besides being a romantic suspense author, I’m also a USCG-licensed boat captain and an advocate for women and children in developing countries. I’m a wife, mom, traveler, nature lover, believer, and hit-or-miss fisherman. (Hubby says we’re great at fishing, but lousy at catching.)
I’ve wanted to write books since I penned an epic story about my hamster in the third grade. I’m the kid whose mother took my books away on vacation so I would actually spend time with my family.
My current Florida-set romantic suspense series centers around the Tanners—a family of tough Florida law enforcement officers. Book 1, BEYOND RISK, is sister Charlee’s story. Publisher’s Weekly called BEYOND RISK, “…charming, exciting, and thoughtful…the strong sense of place and thrilling action make this worth picking up.”
Book 2, BEYOND POWER is brother Josh’s story and is available now. Book 3 is in the works, so stay tuned. Or read the fun novella in the TURN THE TIDE Anthology.
I also had a blast writing the SAFE HARBOR books, a Florida-set romantic suspense series featuring three foster sisters. Book 1, TANGLED LIES, introduces boat captain Sasha and book 2, HIDDEN THREAT tells environmentalist sister Eve’s story. Mysterious and shadowy sister Cat’s story, DEADLY MELODY, wraps up this fun, heart-pounding series. I’d love to hear what you think of the Martinelli sisters!
After 24 years near Ocala, Florida, hubby and I recently relocated to the Atlantic coast. I loved showing students and guests from around the world the beautiful Silver River. Now I’m captaining for the Marine Discovery Center and having a blast showing guests this lovely area and its amazing dolphins and other wildlife.
I’m also passionate about supporting organizations that are making a difference in this world. One of my favorites is Lift the Lid. One of their projects is the School in a Cart, which helps street children in Manila get an education. Please click here for several other groups who are doing great work.
