Do you ever get lonely in your writing cave? I know I do. Most of us have to hunker down in our creative spaces in order to create our art. It’s necessary. It’s part of the process, but if you’re like me, it gets lonely in there after a while.

Every so often, we pop our heads up like a gopher and peek around, looking for company, some fun and laughter and a break from the isolation creativity so often requires. Especially when it’s been raining rejection for too long. That, too, is part of the creative process and it’s hard. Rejection wears us down.

We are truly blessed if we have people around to encourage us when it’s hard–and then to celebrate when things are good. Those people are the greatest treasures in a creative person’s life.

You all are those people in my life!

So many of you have walked the journey with me. You’ve commiserated and offered encouragement and now…we get to party!

Angel Falls is here and I want to celebrate with all of you!

I’m hosting a month-long launch party on my Facebook author page. It starts today with giveaways and fun contests and quizzes and the chance to get to know each other better.

Won’t you join the fun??

*And if you live anywhere near Lake Helen, Florida, stop by the 18th Florida Author’s Book Fair, this Saturday, March 9th, from 10:00 – 3:00 at the Lake Helen Library, Hopkins Hall. My good friend Barbara Cameron and I will be there signing books—along with 24 other Florida authors. We’d love to see you!
