    Hubby and I have supported Lift the Lid for many years and were privileged to join founder Sara Goff and 2 other folks on a trip to Kenya in 2025 to teach at two of the supported schools there. Lift the Lid also helps street children in Manila finish school and go on to college, enabling them to build a brighter future for themselves and their families. They also support a children’s home in Tanzania. I am honored to serve on the board of Lift the Lid as we to try to improve the lives of children in developing countries through education.

    Dignity Roasters delivers locally roasted and packaged coffee right to your door, to “Help the distressed earn what they need.” The coffee comes from Brazil (where my Dad was from) and it’s delicious. We love getting that delivery every month.

    Ten By Three is doing incredible work helping artisans around the world break the poverty cycle through their Prosperity Wages model. Their baskets and other products make great gifts—and make a difference. Each one even comes with a photo of the artisan who made it! I have been using my Ghana tote as a briefcase for years.
