Happy Spring and Happy Easter, Everyone!
I love this time of year! The weather warms up and everything gets so green and lush. Out on the Silver River, the water looks even more clear and crisp than normal and we often get to see all kinds of baby animals. While nature is undergoing it’s rebirth, Christians gather to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection at Easter, while those of the Jewish faith remember their liberation from slavery during Passover. So many wonderful things to celebrate and get excited about!
Those who follow me on Instagram and Facebook, (and if you don’t yet, I hope you will) know I post quite a few pictures taken in and around the Silver River where I work as a captain. Here’s a fun collection of spring shots, which are different than the ones you’ve already seen.
And if you enjoy this part of Florida, I hope you’ll check out my new romantic suspense, BEYOND RISK, set right here in Central Florida. It’s book 1 of the Florida Wildlife Warriors series and is available at your favorite bookstore or online retailer. (Book 2 is with my editor and I’m currently writing book 3 and having a blast.)

Manatees! (One has a tracker)

Mama wood duck and her babies. They have so many because sadly, everything out here thinks baby wood ducks are a great snack.

Never give up! Even when life doesn’t go the way you thought it would!
Enjoy this beautiful time of year!
