    Reviews are always an encouragement to authors, bu Reviews are always an encouragement to authors, but for some reasons you may not think about! The obvious one is it lets an author know people like their writing and stories, and boosts their morale to keep writing more! But it's also an indicator to a publisher that readers like this author's work and a publisher is willing to offer another contract in the future—and hopefully more than one contract! Another great reason is it helps other readers, like you, know a little bit about the book and author, possibly a recommendation in the review and whether they would like to give the new-to-them author a try.
