This past week has flown by in a whirlwind of book launch fun!

I had a wonderful day in Mt. Dora celebrating HIDDEN THREAT’s release with my treasured friend and fabulous critique partner. This beautiful lady always, ALWAYS knows what I meant to say!

Spending too many hours hunched over a computer is a challenge for every writer, so I’m always looking for ways to keep moving. I recently bought an inflatable stand up paddle board (or SUP). I had tried one a few months ago and LOVED it, so I now have my own.

It has reminded me of two things: 1) I am seriously out of shape and 2) nothing recharges my creative batteries like being out on the water. Getting out on the board is definitely helping with both–and I’m enjoying every minute. What about you? How do you recharge? I’d love to know. I’m super-excited to be doing a book signing at Gabriel’s, a wonderful independent bookstore in Ocala, FL. AND I’ll be speaking at SIX of our local Marion County (FL) libraries this month.
